In the College's millwright shop, you will gain hands-on experience working on industrial equipment as you learn to install, repair, and maintain complex industrial mechanical machinery in existing and new operations. In second year, you will build upon your electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and computer-aided drafting skills while increasing your precision in troubleshooting and repairing industry equipment. Take advantage of the Co-op Diploma Apprenticeship option, and you'll complete all in-school apprenticeship requirements by the time you graduate – making you job-ready for the many opportunities in every industry from aerospace to food manufacturing to mining.
