CSU's Master of Theology (Research) offers students the opportunity to undertake a thesis by research in the Faculty's priority areas of New Testament studies, church history, theology, or mission and pastoral studies. The Master of Theology (Research) gives students an awareness of contemporary debate and results in a distinct contribution to theological knowledge. Students prepare a thesis proposal, conduct approved research under supervision, and present the results of their research for examination in an academically conventional form.
