The HND in Music Performance (Jazz) is a 2 year full time practically based course that aims to give students a strong foundation in music that will prepare them for a career in the industry. The course content is based on the language and knowledge base of Jazz music in its various forms. Main features of the course: Practical band workshops every day Weekly classes in all aspects of jazz performance - theory, harmony, composition, improvisation, keyboards, music technology. Purpose built music rehearsal facilities and up to date music technology suites Masterclasses from 6 world class musicians each year Student concerts in a variety of venues - at least 6 each year First class student support Small cohort - maximum of 14 students
