As a pharmacist you are an expert in all aspects of medicines and drugs; playing a vital role in providing quality healthcare to patients. In order to become a pharmacist, you have to successfully complete one year of postgraduate training and pass the GPhC registration assessment. Pharmacy is centred firmly on how pharmacists can serve the needs of patients. With a focus on developing the practical and professional skills of a pharmacist, you will also develop a grounding in science and a strong practical content that will enable you to inform your decisions in practice and to practise safely and ethically. The degree has three integrated streams - one representing pharmaceutical science, one body systems and clinical studies, and the other pharmacy practice and healthcare.
