Our Master of Cybersecurity has been developed in close consultation with industry leaders to ensure you will be equipped with best practice processes and relevant skills for a rapidly developing career path. Learn from industry experts as ‘professors of practice’ across a range of subjects, using their experience and real world case studies to connect theory and practice. You will undertake a set of foundation subjects to develop industry-relevant multidisciplinary skills and understand advanced cybersecurity practice, the mindset and motivation of hackers, networks, crisis communication, auditing and risk mitigation as well as legal and ethical implications. Our multidisciplinary foundation is a distinctive approach to cybersecurity education and was developed in response to industry feedback that graduates need to be prepared to confront cybercrime on a diverse array of fronts. Our Master of Cybersecurity is offered under three specialisations: Computer Science, Business Operations and Law – each offering flexibility with elective subjects to allow you to also pursue your interests. A Graduate Diploma of Cybersecurity (Computer Science) is also available for entry. La Trobe University is a member of the Victorian Oceania Cyber Security Centre (OCSC) , which is a hub for cybersecurity activities and is fully funded by Victorian government.
