Bachelor of International Business

Course Description

Prepare for a career in international business through studies in international relations, international human resource management and international marketing. This course is structured to allow you to major in international business and complete a semester studying overseas if you choose. You can also complete a second major in a language or in another field, such as international development. Your business studies will cover accounting, finance, economics, human resource management, and marketing. You'll approach these subjects from a global perspective, looking at the social, cultural and institutional influences on international business. For example, you'll examine the way the global economy interacts with international politics, along with the role of multilateral treaties and institutions such as the United Nations system. Along with the options to study overseas or study a second language, you can also tailor this degree to your specific interests through up to eight electives from across the University. These electives could include international trade, international financial management, international development, or Asian studies. Our unique industry Professors of Practice work within this course to improve course curriculum, student learning experience, and engage with industry and business.
