The Kinesiology Program (formerly Human Kinetics) at Langara College is a two-year university-transfer program that allows students to continue toward the completion of a university degree in disciplines such as kinesiology, physical education, human kinetics, or other interdisciplinary studies.

Career Opportunities Several initiatives are being incorporated into the Kinesiology program. We are expanding the use of technology in the delivery of courses and modifying lab and lecture facilities to allow for optimal student involvement and learning. This is in an effort to provide learning experiences that facilitate the development of essential abilities relevant to course content. In addition to providing academic credits, several of our courses also offer external certification from organizations such as the National Coaching Certification Association, Sportmed BC and the British Columbia Recreation & Parks Association.
