This programme is run in collaboration with Skills Update Training Institute (SUTI). We will be running the Health Assistance Strand of this certificate. It will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge required to provide effective person-centred approach to health care under the direction and delegation of a health professional. This certificate is suitable for you if you are working in aged care, community, primary or rehabilitation settings. It is practical certificate about applying the knowledge to your work, whereever possible and suitable you will be assessed through practical activities. Work based learning is part of this programme. It is anticipated you will already be employed to complete the work based part of this programme and you will study this programme part time alongside your employment. If you are not employed in a health care role you will be given assistance to organise temporary work placements, but ultimately finding a temporary work placement would be your responsibility.
