Seneca's Tourism – Service Management – Global Tourism Business Specialization diploma program is designed to provide you with the attitude and skills necessary for roles in an industry that are "business" focused in a "service-driven" environment. Emphasis is placed on developing and honing your business and entrepreneurial skills while developing, promoting and selling global tourism services. You will gain the ability to approach the industry from the lense of service leadership and will learn to apply yours skills in creating exceptional customer experiences. The ability to innovative and develop strategic plans and implement exciting new tourism services in a global marketplace will set you apart from the rest! Finally, the business of Global Tourism encompasses five interdependent industry groups: accommodations, food and beverage services, recreation and entertainment, transportation and travel services. Making the tourism sector a large contributor to economic growth in Ontario, Canada and the world. As such the tourism industry provides graduates a diversity of employment opportunities in a wide range of global settings. In semester two of the program you can opt to continue your studies in the Global Tourism Business Specialization or the Meeting, Conventions and Events Specialization. Students successfully completing the Tourism – Services Management, Global Tourism Business diploma program specialization, will graduate with a Tourism – Services Management 2 year diploma.
