This four-year full-time course is run jointly by the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) and Trinity. Students are registered in both institutions. The course is designed to provide an integrated education in the science of nutrition and practice of dietetics and their application to human health and wellbeing, at both individual and community level. On successful completion, the B.Sc. (honors) degree in Human nutrition and dietetics is awarded jointly by DIT and Trinity.

When you graduate, you will be well placed to find work as a dietitian or clinical nutritionist in a hospital or in the community. You will also be qualified to work in, for example, a food company or in clinical nutrition product sales and marketing. Some of our graduates have also chosen academic careers in research or education.
