The Graduate Certificate in Urban Design can be taken on its own or provide a stepping stone to the Graduate Diploma in Urban Design or the Master of Urban Design (coursework and dissertation). The Graduate Certificate in Urban Design is offered by the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts and delivered by The Australian Urban Design Research Centre (formerly the Urban Design Centre of Western Australia). Students develop techniques of urban analysis and design propositions with an orientation to the traditions, aims and means of urban design.

The course will develop your knowledge and understanding of the complex nature of urban design issues and prepare you for the next step in your career in urban design.
