The Bachelor of Music (BMus) is a 3 year full-time professional training degree that enables you to develop the skills necessary for success in the music profession. The course is based at the Conservatorium of Music in Hobart, a dynamic and progressive music-making environment, that values and provides intensive one-to-one tuition, small class sizes and personalised attention. Part-time study and mid year enrolment are also available. Major study areas in either Classical or Contemporary mode include: Instrumental (classical & contemporary orchestral instruments, keyboard, guitar); Composition Music Technology Musicology Voice (classical, contemporary, singer-songwriter)

Careers as performers, teachers and administrators, or may be involved in broadcasting, journalism or as music critics.
