Utilising our outstanding facilities, industry links and staff expertise to support students in actively engaging in research related to animal behaviour and welfare, the programme will provide you with the required knowledge and skills to develop practical solutions for existing and emerging problems in animal behaviour and animal welfare science. The Masters by Research in Animal Behaviour and Welfare includes 60 credits of taught modules, including core modules of advances in animal behaviour, contemporary issues in animal welfare and research methods and optional modules such as wildlife conflict and reflection on practice. . These modules tend to be taught in two day blocks. This means that the teaching is condensed to allow the Masters study to occur round other commitments in our students' lives.
