Upper Iowa University, in partnership with Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC), provides you with the opportunity to earn certification for teaching Industrial Technology in Iowa secondary schools. You will take Industrial Technology content through NICC and complete the professional education core program through Upper Iowa University. Coursework can be started either at UIU or NICC. When you successfully complete the various requirements, you are well prepared for teaching positions in Industrial Technology immediately after graduation.
