This short award introduce a students to vocational opportunities in the hospitality industry with a particular focus on professional cookery and barista service. Students will gain introductory skills and knowledge in a selection of cookery and patisserie applications, as well as fundamental barista skills for preparing espresso beverages. On completion of this short award, students can undertake further study in culinary arts, patisserie and bakery, café operations, culinary management and hospitality management, or pursue employment opportunities in food production and café operations.
