The aim of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge of applying hazard identification and risk assessment procedures in the workplace. It also includes taking and recording measurements and making calculations in wood manufacturing, as well as demonstrating systems and techniques used to work efficiently in wood manufacturing. This course includes NZQA unit standards 17602, 22969 and 22971.
