The programme is designed for enthusiastic, motivated and passionate people, who are interested in making pictures. The programme covers: Camera handling Understanding light Creativity Photographic design Black and white printing Photo mounting Presentations Small business. Students produce a portfolio of work that will allow them to seek employment as a photographic assistant, pursue higher levels of education, or establish a photographic business. At the heart of the programme is a strong creative component. Supporting that heart is a series of technical modules that supply the photographic skills to enable students to freely express themselves. Students can progess to the Certificate in Advanced Photography. Completion of both the practical and advanced certificates provides a pathway into year two of the Bachelor of Applied Arts (Visual Arts and Deisgn).
