Gain further knowledge of counselling theories; human behaviour; mental health issues; grief and loss; trauma; addiction; how groups function; and relationship and family counselling. This course is designed to prepare professional counsellors to work in a range of settings such as community mental health, community agencies, schools, multidisciplinary mental health teams, and in private practice. Students will develop skills in: counselling interventions behavioural assessment and evaluation critical thinking ethical awareness and decision-making communication.
