The MA/MSc in Interactive Multimedia is a 12-month intensive course that is designed specifically for art and design graduates who are interested in pursuing studies which combine technological competence with design/artistic endeavour. The convergence of computer and media technologies offers unique opportunities for design/artists to exploit their potential in new areas, across a wide range of activities. Graduates from the Master in Interactive media will be able to direct and manage interactive media development projects. The unique features of this development include: A new type of multidisciplinary graduate who combines technological competence with human-centered design and artistic/creative endeavour; The effect of this course will enhance a student's education and employment prospects. This course will enable students to capitalise on their existing education and to extend their competencies; The increase in awareness of the opportunities offered by computer technology in a range of industries and services in new and traditional media (from audio/video recording/editing to web development, from broadcasting to social media, from product, event and service design asking for more interactivity to mobile computing).

Graduates from the Master in Interactive media will be able to direct and manage interactive media development projects combining technological competence with Human-centered design and artistic/creative endeavour. Graduates from the master's in music technology programme have gone on to employment in a wide range of areas from audio/video recording/editing to web development, from broadcasting to social media, from product and service design asking for more interactivity to mobile computing. Past students have become interaction designers, usability experts, teachers or remained artists but with a digital edge to their work. At the end of the year, students will exhibit their final project at the Digital Art Week Now exhibition
