BSc (Hons) Psychology with Law

Course Description

The increasing crossover between psychology and law means there is growing demand for graduates with knowledge of both subjects, for example within legal psychology and policy making. This new, flexible course gives you the opportunity to study psychology alongside a choice of complementary areas from law. You can gain a research-based insight into theories in areas such as personal relations, child development, and mental health that can be applied to your modules in Family, Youth or Health Law. The British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited degree programme provides a degree in Psychology with Law through taking options within the Law School at the University of Southampton. In each of the three years the student will take 6 units in Psychology and 2 Law options. The degree will allow a student to tailor their Psychology degree to apply their knowledge within a Law setting.
